Strumble Head, on the Pencaer Peninsula in North Pembrokeshire, is famous for its lighthouse, seen here. Given its popularity, it is somewhere that has been photographed many, many times. Never, however, using this composition! I was determined to find my own unique angle on this location, and after a lot of hunting & looking, have settled on this composition with which I'm very happy. I intend to revisit this particular spot, many times, in many different conditions, and produce a number of "studies" of this composition. Indeed, since I took this one, I have been back a few times and two other images, from two different visits are shown here.
