I was driving around in The Cambrian Mountains, which I just love, looking for locations. I came across this composition, looking down a valley towards the village of Ystradffin on the Carmarthenshire/Powys border.
Really this was a road side snap, intended as a test shot for a later image. However, once converted to B&W, I found that I really, really liked it, and it has generated a lot of interest at recent exhibitions, and in a number of galleries where I have my work.
All I need to do now is buy a 4x4 and return in the snow!
