Aber Draw is a tiny, rocky cove on the North Pembrokeshire coast, less than half a mile from Trefin. The ruins of an old water mill (partially visible on the left of the image) still stand in this spot that is sometimes referred to as Aberfelin, for this reason (felin is Welsh for mill).
I had my camera all set up & ready to go to capture the sunset. Just as the light was getting interesting, a family, laden down with dogs, balls, BBQs & kids arrived. My heart sank! I made some images anyway, including after they'd left.
When I reviewed them later, I found that I actually liked this one, with them, and their BBQ smoke in, the best. For me, it adds a bit of context & humanity to the scene.
