I got up early two mornings on the trot in the winter of 2016, that was characterised by virtually non stop rain, for the trip to the Towy valley. I was hoping for mist. The first morning produced nothing of worth. The second morning, however, whilst not misty, rewarded me with the only hoar frost of the winter. In the background, the snow capped Black Mountain, can be seen. This image was made from the hill with Dryslwyn Castle on it. A demanding climb!
